Today I’m participating in a Blog Swap w/20 Something Bloggers. And I’m very excited to be swapping blogs with Liz from Landscapes of ME. Liz blogs about her day-to-day life and lots of fun outdoors adventures. If only I was as outdoorsy as this girl… I’m a little frightened of tents… but I’ll live vicariously through her adventures.
So, without further ado, here’s Liz!
Hi everyone! I’m Liz from Landscapes of ME. Since the theme of this blog swap is summer, I wanted to write about my favorite place while growing up – Baxter State Park in Maine.
At the beginning of summer, I moved back into my childhood home. This has given me an opportunity to re-explore the places that I loved growing up. I think Baxter State Park is one of my favorite places in the world – and definitely my favorite place in Maine. I’m lucky to have it so close.
I’ve spent quite a bit of the summer hiking through the park, taking photos and just admiring nature. I love the smell of the woods there. It’s a mix of dirt, sunlight hitting leaves, pine needles and wet moss.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from this summer.
Nature does not aim to deceive. Everything that it produces it does so with clarity and truth.
Isn’t her photography beautiful? She truly is so lucky to live so close to such beautiful scenery, isn’t she?
Well, since this is a blog swap, don’t forget to go check out my guest post on Liz’s blog!
