My Cory James loves, loves, loves homemade tacos. Loves them. I think he loves them even more than Taco Bell tacos (which we have way more than we should). At least I hope he does anyways. So I treated him the other day to a deliciously yummy taco night! I love how easy tacos are. Brown some meat, toss in some seasoning, then heat up some tortillas and throw a bunch of chopped up toppings in. Voila, dinner!
Do you ever do this to your tortillas? Cory thought I was crazy the first time I did it, but my mom warmed tortillas on our gas stove for as long as I can remember growing up. It’s pretty nifty, you just gotta keep a close eye so you don’t char them.
Mmmm okay, now I’m hungry!
& please don’t forget to check out my {giveaway}. amazing digital scrapbooking software… trust me!
Ha too funny this is exactly what Bry and I are having for dinner!
🙂
Me and Andy do this all the time! Especially when we are having company for dinner because it’s so easy and then people can choose for themselves what to put in it! You forgot my favorite topping.. avocado!
We love taco nights (obviously)…I would totally warm my tortillas up that way if we had the right kind of stove, love it!
Love taco nights! i make mine with grilled chicken strips and line up all the toppings just like that 🙂
Mmmm! Now I’m hungry for tacos!
Yay! We’re having tacos too! : )
Your mom must know someone hispanic, because that’s how they (and by they, I mean my hubs and his family and all the other hispanic people I know, ha!) do up their tortillas. Warm tortillas just make everything better!
We have taco night every Tuesday!! I’m pretty sure if I had a gas stove I’d be trying that tortilla warming method! 🙂
Yum!
