There’s no way that this chili is better than the chili my dad makes, but it’s a family friendly version. My dad’s chili requires 2 glasses of milk and a high tolerance to spicy and that’s just not very kid-friendly. (BUT I FRIGGEN LOVE IT!) Also, Cory hates beans, so we’ve had to compromise those as well. But trust me, this stuff is good. Real good! And hey, it’s low carb!
I never, ever, ever measure out any of the above though. Ever. With chilis and soups and sauces, I’m all about cooking to taste. But feel free to use the measurements I have listed above. I also usually just use the entire green pepper because if I save the other half it’s not very likely to get used up.
