this blog & a new winner

I've been completely neglecting this blog of mine lately. I feel horrible about it. I've had plenty of time, but I just haven't had the energy or the drive to open up my laptop and write to you beautiful ladies (and gents?). It's been incredibly sunny and warm here in Minnesota. I'm talking nearly 80 degree days consistently throughout my spring break. And since that basically never happens in this snowy state (I mean come on... we just had a massive snow storm a couple weeks ago!) I wanted to enjoy every single second of that sunshine. And yes, I can say that I've got my first little sunburn of the season in the 2nd week of March! That is just unheard of!

Honestly, I have no idea how you southern California or gorgeous Arizona bloggers do it. It's cloudy and blah outside today or you may not even be hearing from me now!

For now, I'm just taking a step back, and breathing in the beauty that is this life I've been given and trying to live in the moment as much as I can with my daughter. I can admit that I kind of let blogging take a lot of my time previously. Cory didn't like it and I didn't like that he didn't like it. Right now my family is my main priority and school is a very, very close second. I'm not sure where blogging lies in there, but I'll be checking back now and again to say hi and to continue to thank you all for taking an interest in my family and I and this sweet little blog-home I've created in these interwebs.
