Me: "Alea, what kind of pants are you wearing today?" Alea: "Yogurt pants!" -- You'd think as much as her mama wears yoga pants, I would've taught her that word a long time ago!
--She was playing with the hose in the front yard and I told her to be careful. She replied with, "Don't worry mommy, I just a firefighter!"
--While using my stethoscope on my big toe Alea said, "I gonna be a doctor so I can listen to your heart beep!"
--Playing in the bathtub and a couple little bubbles popped up. "Sorry I tooted mommmy. Happy birthday to you!"
--"I have fruit snack, mommy. I be healfy!"
--"I finish my cookie when I grow up mommy."
--"Mommy you hear that? I hear a dolphin. It say 'womp-ay-womp-ay!'"
--"Look mommy! I pooped a carrot!" Potty training is so interesting ;)
--While looking at one of her ultrasound pictures. "Look, Alea in mommy's tummy. She look stucked!"
--"Look mommy! I pooped a banana!" Like I said, this potty training thing gets pretty interesting!
--"We go doctor and doctor give you a shock mommy. It okay he give you a check up. It be alright." She was pretty concerned when I told her I needed to go get a shot at the doctor. It was just a mantaux, but she held my hand anyways!
--I asked her what she wanted to get Cory for Father's Day. "We get daddy one Elmo and two Abby toys for his happy birthday."
--After her Popsicle fell on the ground, "Pop goes the weasel!"
--Cory was about to go downstairs and Alea asked him, "What you doing daddy?" to which Cory replied, "I'm going downstairs to check on the water coming into the basement." (We have a pipe that's leaking from our roof or something.) And Alea responded with, "Ya, our house have accident. It peed in her undies!"
And since a couple of my friends requested a video of Alea and her British accent, here ya go! There's certain words and phrases she says that sound so English, it just cracks me up. I have NO idea where she got it from, but when she says "all better," I can't help but laugh!
I've said it once, and I'll say it a million times more. I absolutely LOVE that she's talking so much now. She makes me laugh so hard sometimes. I hope you got a little giggle out of her silly little sayings, too.
This is too cute! I love hearing the silly things little kiddos say! She is such a sweetheart :)
ReplyDeleteOh-m-gee! I love it!! She must have been an English woman in her past life! I had an East Coast accent when I was a little or so they say. Talking is by far my favorite milestone! The things these kids say.
