While I took my little unannounced blogging hiatus, I focused most of my energy on school and the rest of my energy was spent focusing on my Alea Lou. Maybe it was the mommy guilt, but I felt that since I had to plop her in front of Dora the Explorer or Caillou so I could study, the moments I wasn’t studying needed to be memorable. Spring break was the perfect time for that. I spent my spring break by letting Alea plan out our days. I’d ask her each morning what we should do that day and by golly we did it. Whether it be going to the park or blowing bubbles or having a picnic- we did it. We even made a batch of Pinterest-inspired frozen yogurt bites, which were much too delicious. Now that I’m off for the summer, I’m spending it much like we spent our spring break together- focused on my little girl. I’m having too much fun pinning toddler-friendly crafts, recipes, you name it and can’t wait to share our summer adventures with all of you!
