Okay, I’m not a horrible mother, but you’ll understand what I mean soon enough! Now that we have a new vehicle, we’ve decided to spend a little bit of money to actually keep the exterior clean. Yeah, we’ll see how long that lasts, right? I’ve honestly been scared of when we have to take Alea on her first trip through the car wash. When I was little I was absolutely terrified of car washes and the still creep me out a little bit to this day. I hate the feeling of being stuck in them and I’m always paranoid somethings going to hit or damage my vehicle! So that being said, I was a little nervous when Cory decided it was time to give our new car a bath.
I talked it up big to Alea to prepare her. I told her that our new car needed a bubble bath and even joked around that we had forgotten it’s giant rubber duckie. (Yes, I’m hilarious… I know).
See what I mean? I’m a horrible mother. I mean really? Who has two thumbs and takes pictures of their child when they’re scared out of their wits in the car wash? This mama!
Deep down inside, I knew that she wouldn’t like it very much, but I let her hold my hand and then I
practically kissed the ground sang the hallelujah chorus about 27 times when we pulled out of the car wash. We’ll just say this probably wasn’t one of Alea’s favorite firsts.
