You're getting so smart. You can sing your ABCs and count to 10 in English and to 5 in Spanish with some assistance. I guess I have your obsession with Dora the Explorer to thank for that last one. Either way, you amaze me every single day with all that you say and do.
My favorite thing you say right now though is "I love you, mommy!" And it's pretty cute when you add "mommy" to the end of everything you tell me.
When we went to the park for the first time this spring you amazed me by going down the slide all by yourself for the very first time. Your such a brave and independent little girl, but I love that there's still some mornings where you call to come in bed for snuggles with mommy and daddy.
Your still a bit of a picky eater, but girl you love your ketchup. Sometime I even fib a little and tell you that spaghetti sauce and salsa are ketchup to get you to try new things.
You're getting more and more acquainted with the potty. You go poopie on the potty more often than pee-pee, but we'll just let you run the show. Right now you just love that you get a little bag of fruit snacks after you make pee or poo on the potty! "Treat time" as you call it!
I can't believe we've already spent almost 2 years together now. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was feeling your fluttering kicks in my tummy, directly below my heart.
You've made your place in my heart from day one when those two pink lines appeared and my heart grows with more and more love for you every day. Just when I think I couldn't love you anymore than I already do, you smile at me with those cute little baby teeth and run up to me and hug my leg so hard it feels you'll never let go... And my love for you grows stronger.
