I'm breaking the rules a little this week and offering up a little crock-pot drink recipe that's actually a big favorite around here. It all started with Halloween. Before we went trick or treating, Cory told me to put the apple juice, etc. in the crock-pot. When we came home, we were welcomed to the enticing aroma of cinnamon and apples. As if the smell alone didn't warm us up enough, the warmth of the cup of cider defrosted our cold little fingers, and our bodies were immediately warmed the second the cider touched our lips. I don't say this very often, but this was a fabulous idea on Cory's part.

Recipe:
+ 1 jug of apple cider
+ 2-3 cinnamon sticks
+ A dash of ground cinnamon
+ 1 tsp vanilla
+ 2 tbsp sugar
Apple cider is my absolute favorite drink in the colder months. Thanks for sharing this recipe! I might just have to try it :)

Apple cider is my absolute favourite. I used to make it in the crockpot all the time but now I have a Keurig and they actually make apple cider k-cups. It's not the same, but it's so quick. I think I'll have to try this recipe this weekend though.
