I had a bit of a “melt my heart into a puddle on the floor” moment with Alea. I was sitting on the couch painting my nails & she came up to me and asked if I would paint her nails too. (Which I totally expected her to say, because she loves when I paint her nails.) But then she proceeded to say:
So, as soon as I wiped the tear that had instantly formed in the corner of my eye, I picked up my little girl, gave her a big squeeze & brought her over to the table and painted her nails. In that moment, nothing else mattered. It was a beautiful and sweet reminder that this silly little girl who hates to leave my side is always looking up to me.
That is an absolutely adorable story, and I kinda teared up a bit at it too! Glad you have a little girl who just loves you so much. <3
