Us bloggers. Oh my. We’re a whole different breed. Cory makes fun of me almost on a daily basis for all of the silly “blogger quirks” I have.
Read on… it couldn’t be more true. Us bloggers are pretty darn quirky!
You’re not a blogger until…
1. Take pictures of yourself… looking at the ground.
2. Wear a chambray button up top.
3. Pile your hair on top of your head into a “top knot.”
4. Wear colored skinny jeans.
5. You put your hand in your hair for pictures.
6. You wear wide rimmed glasses.
7. You get mad because you forgot to Instagram your food before eating it.
8. You’ve asked your child to re-do whatever they’ve just done… so you can Instagram it.
9. You drink a majority of your beverages out of mason jars.
10. You’ve worn a different color of nail polish on your ring finger.
Now be honest. How many of these are you guilty of?
Note: I am guilty of every single one of them.
linking up with the pleated poppy + all things alisa + because shanna said so + style elixir, dear abby leigh + rae gun ramblings, Vodka Infused Lemonade + Kiwi Women’s Style.
Guilty of every single one. I actually painted my nails last night and painted them all the same color… and thought well that’s boring! Haha – it’s funny the things we do. Loved this post!
Lol this happens to me all the time. I pain them all in one color on my lazy/no time for anything days, and I feel so disappointed because they’re so plain. This was so not the case a few years ago!
I wouldn’t necessarily consider myself a “blogger” per se… but I think I’ve done all of these things, oops!
This is too good! I’ve done all of the above except ask my child to re-do something… but if I had a child, I totally would. 😛
Guilty of 3… I’m looking at my accent mani as I type… 😀
I’ve only done about half of this list, but it’s probably because I’m definitely not a very fashionable blogger lol
I’m guilty of two from your list, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have others quirks that my husband pokes fun of!
And my hubs is a real smart alec, so I get REALLY teased sometimes, haha.
These make me laugh. So funny, yet so true!
I made dinner the other night [ a pretty big accomplishment on its own ] and I told my husband he couldn’t eat until I took a picture of it to post on instagram and he gave me the “are you kidding me” look and I proceeded to give him the “you better not touch it” look haha Oh, blogging!

lol at looking at your feet and chambray shirt. I have never seen so many people wear chambray shirts! Mine is getting to my son’s school early enough so I can respond to emails on my phone before school is dismissed. Plan my life around blogging. Trying to set up events so i can blog about it later. Seems a little psycho now that i wrote it out.
Great post, it made me laugh!

I’m also a chambray shirt addict! I’m always tempted to take a pic of an empty plate for Instagram with a caption “Oops, too hungry to remember to take a pic!”. The worst thing about blogging is writing something and having to wait to post until it’s more poignant. Hilarious post!
Emily
HAHAHA this is great! Especially the pictures…lol
I’m guilty of the chambray top and the colored jeans. Also, putting my hand in my hair and looking down. Oh and Q knows if we make something or go somewhere to eat, not to take a bite until I’ve gotten a photo. haha.

HAHAHA! Guilty as charged for the majority of them!
Classic, I’ve done everyone of these! Minus the kids since we dont have any yet! But when we do, I’m sure I’ll do that too!

This is fantastic! I’m guilty of a few. Guess that means I’m not a REAL blogger yet. 😉
I absolutely can relate … Reagan does the cutest things sometimes and I always catch myself saying “Do that again!” so I can take a picture!

I hate how drinking out of mason jars is a new trend. We’ve been doing it in the south for YEARS.
i love the instagram point – so true. do it all the time. get finished doing whatever it maybe & realize oops!! i forgot to snap a shot. poohey!! ha. ha!! cute post. ( :
i love a top knot. i can’t wait until my hair grows that long again.
Only guilty of like 4 or 5. We’ve been drinking out of mason jars for a LONG time and I refuse to take a picture looking like I’m scratching my head from lice. haha!
yup, 6&7. lol, enjoyed the list!
Definitely guilty of pretty much every single one at one time or another….haha! PS – love the coral cords too 🙂 I paired them with the same shirt too. I swear we must have the same closet!
Haha so cute! Did you get those jeans from Old Navy? If so, I have the same ones. Love them. 🙂
So at SNAP! this weekend it was so so easy to spot a blogger: colored skinny jeans, polkadot flowy top, bubble necklace, hipster glasses, and top knot. everyone had on the blogger uniform! (some were even drinking out of mason jars!) could not be truer!
bahaha this is so true and funny at the same time!!!
Guilty of 1, 4, 5, 7, 8. Such a cute post!!
Oh, Chelsea. I just love you. That is all!
All of the above!
1. Take pictures of yourself… looking at the ground.
Not yet!
2. Wear a chambray button up top.
Nope.
3. Pile your hair on top of your head into a “top knot.”
Short hair.
4. Wear colored skinny jeans.
Yep!
5. You put your hand in your hair for pictures.
Kind of.
6. You wear wide rimmed glasses.
Definitely not, good eyes over here!
7. You get mad because you forgot to Instagram your food before eating it.
More than once!
8. You’ve asked your child to re-do whatever they’ve just done… so you can Instagram it.
Absolutely.
9. You drink a majority of your beverages out of mason jars.
Nope, don’t own one!
10. You’ve worn a different color of nail polish on your ring finger.
I don’t like that trend 😉
A big fat 2!
I’m a #fail blogger lol x
I honestly can’t say I’m guilty of a single one of these… not your typical blogger i guess 🙂
Hands up! Guilty as charged, and love every second of it! 🙂
Cute post!

GUILTY! 🙂

LOL. Love this. 🙂
I am absolutely DYING about those, I know I am guilty of each one of them! I even feel like I can pick bloggers out in everyday life like when I’m working or at a large group function. haha!
haha perfect! I don’t have too many photos of myself on my blog, so i’m not super guilty (yet!)

Hahaha! I love this. Guilty, guilty, guilty. lol
I’m only guilty of 3… does this mean I’m not a blogger?? :p
Totally #7 & #9!!! Does that mean I’m not a blogger…hahaha. Getting a bun on top of my head would be interesting with my chin length hair. Hey, do I see a blog post about that in my future? 🙂
I’m not fashionable but the food pics def apply to me!
Yep. Guilty of every last one of em. 🙂
You’re too cute Chels!
am i blogger if i like this outfit? 🙂
thanks for linking up with dress for the day!
Lol Ohh my goodness. I am guilty of so many of these!! Especially the whole food pic thing. Or having Andrew redo something to get it again. Or a better angle of it. Ha. love this 🙂 And beautiful you 🙂
HA! I love this, girl. these are all too true!
Stopping by from mrstomama’s tweet… LOOOVE this! Haha… I am only guilty of a few, seeing as I don’t have children yet 😉 LOVE your blog girl…you are so cute. Newest follower!
Haha def. guilty of a number of them!
New follower here!
Stop by some time http://styledlikearockstar.blogspot.com
Ooohhh i’m definitely guilty of some of these!
We aren’t going to name numbers but there are def about 6 of these 10 I’m guilty of. 🙂
I’ve done 3 or 4 of these. I’m wanting to try a bun. I’m just working on a blog post about that. I never wear buns, but because of some bloggers I want to try it.
hahaha!! Love this. My hair is too short for a bun..but I dream about it 😉 I’m so glad I stumbled upon your blog the other week. We seem so similar..even the Sprinkle thing 🙂
Holly, http://www.curiousprinkles.com
Ha ha. I am not into the top knot, even when I had long hair. Nor am I into the accent nail. Its just not ‘me’. Same with posing unnaturally.
This is funny. But I think lots of trendy girls in general are guilty of these things.
Here’s what I would add:
11. Your mood is instantly ruined when you can’t take pictures with that fabulous outfit you just put together.
12. You spend hours online, editing photos and keeping up with followers.
13. You think print mixing is normal (and oh so cute!).
14. You receive too many emails from too many stores.
15. You go shopping more than you probably should (although this is certainly not true for all bloggers).
16. Your friends/family think you’re either awesome or crazy for taking pictures in “look-at-me!” outfits in public places.
And there are more, but that’s all I got for now. Lol.
xo,
-Nathy
