Hooray! It’s Stitch Fix time again! This is quickly becoming my favorite time of the month (you know, as opposed to “that” time of the month) and these posts are also becoming my favorite posts to write. I love sharing what I love and didn’t love about my fixes, but let me tell you, this fix? It’s definitely my best fix yet. I may or may not have snuck a peak at my box before they even delivered it. Is that cheating? I logged into my Stitch Fix profile to see when it was arriving and there in front of me was a list of everything in the box that was due to arrive at my doorstep that day!
So, basically I couldn’t help myself and google everything that was in my box and I immediately fell in love. It didn’t even ruin the surprise though, because when it arrived (after I stalked my front doorstep all day) I was oohing and ahhing like crazy! And the love didn’t even stop there! As soon as I started trying everything on I could practically feel my wallet getting lighter and lighter. I wanted almost everything! This Stitch Fix was definitely the best one TO DATE!
1// CAMELOT STRIPE & POLKA DOT CARDIGAN
I have a serious love for stripes and polka dots, but I never thought they’d look good together until I laid eyes on this cardigan. Too cute, right? I love the bright coral/pink color of the stripes paired with the little navy polka dots. It’s just perfect! The fabric felt really high quality as well and felt like something that would hold up to a lot of wear. The only issue I had with was that it seemed just a bit on the smaller side the way with the gaps between the buttons. This one was a “no” but only for that reason.
2// WARHOL POLKA DOT BUTTON-UP BLOUSE
“Stop it right now!” These were the four words that came flying out of my mouth after I tried this blouse on and took a look in the mirror. I honest to goodness would probably never pick out this blouse, or any blouse for that matter, and try it on. Never! But that’s one thing I love about Stitch Fix. They send me things that might be a little bit out of my comfort zone and then I fall in love with it! This one was definitely a “keep” for me!
3// JACLYNN 3/4 SLEEVE BUTTON-UP CARDIGAN
When I first saw the color of this cardigan I didn’t really love it. All I saw was the bright emerald Christmas green color and couldn’t help but turn up my nose at it. However, after trying it on, I really love the way this color looks with my hair color and my skin tone. The cardigan itself is just so-so with nothing too exciting going on, but the color is what makes it! I decided though that since this one is just a maybe that it was a “no”.
4// BEATRIX STRIPED HI-LO KNIT SHIRT
This shirt! I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it. It’s got the high-low thing going on so it’s perfect for leggings and the coral and navy are just beautiful together. Head-on this top looks really cute, too. It kind of flairs out at the hip making it look similar to a peplum top, but not as tight. It’s definitely unlike anything else that I own so I decided this one was definitely a “keep!”
5// NAIMA TRIBAL PRINT & STRIPES SWEATER
Do I even need to tell you that I kept this one? It’s pretty darn obvious I hope! After I snuck a peak at my fix, this is the top that I was definitely the most excited about. You know how I said I love stripes and polka dots earlier? Yeah, definitely not as much as I love love love aztec! The only thing I don’t like about this sweater is that it’s a little on the shorter side, but paired with a longer white tank-top underneath it’s absolutely perfect. You better believe I kept this one and will probably be wearing it everyday from now on!
How it Works:
I’ve gotten a couple questions from a few of you asking how this whole Stitch Fix business works. It’s really quite simple and not as scary as you’d think! I was really tentative to try it out, but after getting boxes for 3 months now, I’m totally convinced and totally drinkin’ the Kool-Aid. I can’t get over how fun and convenient these fixes are!
1. Head on over to StitchFix.com and fill out a super cute, easy + fun style profile + pay a $20 styling fee.
2. The stylists at Stitch Fix will pick out 5 pieces they think suit your style profile and send them your way.
3. You receive a pretty little Stitch Fix box packed with these goodies and style cards to help you style your new pieces.
4. Style your new pieces and have fun playing dress-up to decide which pieces you’d like to keep.
5. Log on to your Stitch Fix profile + tell them what you liked + didn’t like + check out to pay for your keeps.
(That $20 you paid? It goes towards what you keep!) It’s as easy as that!
And there you have it! My favorite Stitch Fix yet!
