These Stitch Fix posts are always my favorite to read and I love seeing what others get in their fixes, so I thought I’d share another one with you! I did get one last month, but I was a wee bit preoccupied with NCLEX-taking, unpacking and I was a little short on extra spending money so I decided not to keep anything in that fix anyways. Let me tell you though, from an amazing fix, to somewhat of a dud, to an amazing fix again! I got really, really lucky this time with my fix and I couldn’t be more pleased!
Just when I thought my last Stitch Fix couldn’t get any better, they go and surprise me with this one. Seriously? How can I say no to all these pretty pieces? Okay, I take back part of that last statement. I did say “no” to one of the items and I didn’t even include it in the photos below. It was a white and grey striped pencil skirt which I thought was pretty cute, but skirts just really aren’t my thing unless they’re maxi-length and it didn’t fit me at all to even try it on!
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this fix as much as I did. It really, truly was a great one!
How adorable is this sweater? I’m not usually a mint or blue kinda gal, but I really loved the softer addition of color. This sweater was a little on the bigger side, but I loved it. It felt roomy and cozy and perfect for a day snuggled up with a good book and a cup of tea. And the stripes? Be still my heart… I love me some stripes!
This cardigan. Those stripes. Those elbow patches. I can’t even tell you how soft the fabric was. It was just all around perfect. I have a cardigan similar to this (shhh don’t tell Cory), but it has black stripes instead of grey. So that’s my justification of why I just had to keep it. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
MORE Aztec! I don’t think my closet could get any happier. This fabric is similar to the black tribal print blouse above, which is nice because it’ll also be a great spring shirt. The colors are just perfect, too. I’m not usually a red person, but I love it with that light blue and white! It’s a little longer in the front and a little longer in the back– so it’s absolutely meant to be paired with leggings. Which I love!
How it Works:
I’ve gotten a couple questions from a few of you asking how this whole Stitch Fix business works. It’s really quite simple and not as scary as you’d think! I was really tentative to try it out, but after getting boxes for 3 months now, I’m totally convinced and totally drinkin’ the Kool-Aid. I can’t get over how fun and convenient these fixes are!
1. Head on over to StitchFix.com and fill out a super cute, easy + fun style profile + pay a $20 styling fee.
2. The stylists at Stitch Fix will pick out 5 pieces they think suit your style profile and send them your way.
3. You receive a pretty little Stitch Fix box packed with these goodies and style cards to help you style your new pieces.
4. Style your new pieces and have fun playing dress-up to decide which pieces you’d like to keep.
5. Log on to your Stitch Fix profile + tell them what you liked + didn’t like + check out to pay for your keeps.
(That $20 you paid? It goes towards what you keep!) It’s as easy as that!
I think with next month’s fix I’m going to request a maxi skirt, a new bag, and maybe some more “summery” pieces in hopes that summer will arrive! Because, it will… won’t it? For when it does arrive, I’m pretty much in dire need of tank tops, maxi skirts, shorts, and maxi dresses. Come to think of it, I still have yet to pack up those things from our old house. Yikes!
Which pieces from this fix were your favorite?
