The weather has finally hit the 50’s this week. FINALLY. We’re not quite “out of the woods” if you ask me, though. I’m still holding my breath waiting for that last big snowfall to occur (and for everyone to whine in unison about it on Facebook). Living in the midwest, it’s just what’s expected! While some Minnesotans and Wisconsonites believe that 50 degree weather immediately calls for flip-flops and shorts, I’m more of a freeze baby and my cold winter body can’t really tolerate the cool breeze that comes with those low 50 degree temperatures.
If you ran into me on the street or at the store today with my little Alea in tow, you’d see that I’ve still got my winter and fall wardrobe out. I’m not tempting fate here or jinxing our weather, that’s for sure! (I’ve always been a bit superstitious!) So until we hit 70– riding boots and big fluffy aztec cardigans it is. And this shirt? Well, let me tell you about this wonderful t-shirt!
I received this shirt from Sevenly to facilitate this review. However, all opinions are my own.
This week on Sevenly is all about Autism — and a cause that deserves some attention, if you ask me! Autism has been pretty big in the media and news in the last couple of years, but that doesn’t mean that the stigma attached to the term “Autism” isn’t still there. Today I’m wearing my t-shirt with pride, because those with Autism may be different, but they’re less of a person than you or than me.
If you don’t know how Sevenly works, it’s this fabulous company that creates the hippest, cutest t-shirts and products that benefit so many amazing causes. I check out the cause each week and am always amazed at the designs they come up with. With each sale, $7 is donated directly to the cause it supports — crazy awesome, right? They’ve currently raised over $96,890, but still have a ways to go before hitting their $120,000 goal. How can you help? Just order a t-shirt!
You’ve gotta check them out! Interested in the shirt I’m sporting above specifically? You can order that one HERE.
