I can’t begin to tell you how many times I hear “Mommy, can we do a craft today?” from my little Alea Lou. This girl loves and I mean loves doing crafts. On this particular day, I didn’t really have anything planned in response to that question, so we started digging through craft supplies I had stowed away and stumbled upon several rolls of Cottonelle toilet paper rolls I had saved up. I knew I was saving all those darn toilet paper rolls for something!
I immediately became a mommy super hero when I suggested to Alea that we paint these toilet paper rolls up and make fun (and friendly of course) toilet paper roll monsters! She was absolutely ecstatic! Anything that involves paint and this girl is set. Painting is most certainly her favorite medium.
1. Cottonelle toilet paper rolls
3. Pipe cleaners
4. Googly eyes
1. Let your little paint like crazy all over the toilet paper rolls.
2. Let toilet paper rolls dry
3. After toilet paper rolls are dry, apply googly eyes + fold in pipe cleaners for the monster’s hair.
And since we’re on the subject of “toilet paper,” might I suggest checking out Cottonelle’s Clean Care routine? This is seriously the only toilet paper that we use at our house + I’m loving their new on-the-go wipes for well, when you need to “go” when you’re on-the-go! 😉 And you better not forget to save your empty toilet paper rolls for this fun little kid’s activity. Your kiddos will thank you later!
