As silly as it sounds, one of the most enjoyable parts about looking through our wedding photos as we got them back from my photographer (and family friend), Landon Michael Photography, was looking through the silly blooper photos he sent as as well. I love that he didn’t leave anything out. He helped us remember the sillier moments of our wedding day as well.
Because let’s face it. No wedding day is 100% perfect. You plan and plan for weeks and months leading up to that big day, but there’s just not enough time to anticipate every little thing that could go wrong or every little thing that you may need for the wedding. Case and point: While we were setting up the morning of the wedding, we thought we only had spoons. True story. Our wedding was very much do-it-yourself and we seriously thought that we had forgotten the forks and the knives during our many Sams Club runs. So, being the crazy bride I am, I ran into Sams Club after getting my hair and make-up done only to retrieve a jumbo box of knives and forks.
It’s silly things like that you just have to laugh at. And it’s silly things like that, among all the beautiful and sweet moments, too, that I don’t want to forget. I knew I just had to create a little wedding blooper album to keep all of these silly memories safe! And I was able to do just that in no time at all with my Canon PIXMA MG7120 Inkjet Wireless All-in-One Printer!
001. Like all of the bugs for example. That’s one thing you don’t take into account when you’re preparing for an outdoor wedding. Like the fact that bugs will be flying around your head during pictures and up your dress as well. True story. I had bugs stuck between the sheer part of my dress– it was quite interesting trying to get them out!
002. And the wind. I never really considered that wind might make it a little bit difficult for our aisle runner to stay put. I have to admit, though, it was quite hysterical watching Cory’s dad and other family members trying to keep it from blowing away before I walked down the aisle. I even yelled out “just forget it!” but they made it work. And then while I was walking down the aisle with my dad I was afraid my dress was going to fall down because the aisle runner was so difficult to walk on. If I had to do it all over again, I would’ve just nixed the aisle runner from the get-go!
003. Every time I look at this next picture, I can’t help but laugh out loud. You can just see the determination in my friend, Emma’s eyes while she literally takes a dive to catch the bouquet during the bouquet toss. I’m eternally grateful to our photographer for capturing this moment! Now her boyfriend better propose! She earned it!
I love how easy it was to create this little wedding blooper memory album. I found this cute photo album on sale and used the nifty PIXMA Cloud Application on my phone to print these photos on my Canon PIXMA MG7120 photo printer. I was able to do so straight from the cloud and voila– my Canon PIXMA MG7120 printer was printing them downstairs while I laid in bed watching Netflix. Can’t get much more convenient than that!
I love how easy it is to use the PIXMA Cloud App. It allows you to print directly from you social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook as well as photo storage sites like DropBox and Picasa! What are some of the things that went wrong at your wedding that still make you laugh today?
