As of Sunday Cory and I have been married for three months. I don’t know where in the world those three months went, but boy did they fly right by. Cory and I aren’t the type of couple to really celebrate each and every month, but I thought it would be fun to surprise Cory with one of his favorite kinds of candy bars one day last week. I recently stumbled upon these yummy Lindt Hello chocolates and immediately fell in love with the design of the labels. As silly as that is to say, I just kind of have a thing for the adorable typography and the beautiful colors.
I saw the “cookies and cream” bar and immediately thought of Cory. I thought it would be so fun to grab one and surprise him. It’s nothing big, but just a little something special to brighten up his day. You know?
We don’t do the whole “date night thing” all that much– that’s something that kind of bothers me from time to time. But it makes the moments we do spend together so much more special and important. Since we’re “old” and both work full-time, we’re always in bed early and we have a nightly routine of watching Netflix shows. I love that we have our own little in-home date night after Alea goes to bed on a nightly basis. I’m so thankful for those moments and just thought it would be fun to sweeten them up a bit with some delicious chocolate!
Aren’t these little Lindt chocolates adorable, too? I love that they’re smaller so I don’t feel so guilty about grabbing one after my sweet tooth hits after dinner or having a quick one before bedtime. I’ve even been known to throw one in my lunch box for work. It really help sot sweeten up my day. They come in so many delicious flavors, too! There’s a flavor for everyone! My personal favorite? The caramel brownie! But trust me, I’m on the hunt for the coffee flavor!
What flavor of Lindt chocolates would you want to try?
