We’re currently a bit displaced in Wisconsin, as most of you know, and were silly enough to forget our vacuum at home. The one we have where we’re currently living is insanely hard to push and it sounds like it’s about to croak every time we turn it on. It’s not pretty. So I’m sure you can imagine why I was so excited to see this powerful suction seal vacuum on sale! This pretty + powerful vacuum is currently on rollback at Walmart for $129! It was previously $148.88– so that’s a seriously good deal! I couldn’t help but grab one.
We do lots and lots of crafts in this house. Alea’s always spilling the craft supplies onto the floor and don’t even get me started on the crazy messes that all that loose glitter that she loves so much makes. She is four so I don’t expect her to be mess-free, but the messes this little girl can make are quite impressive. I’m sure those of you with little kids as well can commiserate with me. Crumbs dropped onto the floor after breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s just never ending!
The other epic-mess-maker in our house is our (coincidently) four year old dog, Bentley. The way this dog sheds is just unbelievable. It seems like no matter how much we were vacuuming before, there was always hair that needed to be vacuumed up or hair clumps that our old vacuum missed. It’s enough to make you pull out your own hair!
After using this bad boy for the first time, I fell in love. Even our “nicer” vacuum we left back at our old place spits out dirt and dust on our hardwood floors and doesn’t really suck it all up. I feel like I’m constantly going back over the same spot multiple times to get the stuff that it has spit back out at me. Not to mention the fact that you almost have to wear shoes when you vacuum with a pain in the butt vacuum like that because it’ll HURT your bare feet if you don’t. And wearing shoes while you vacuum? Well that almost just defeats the purpose of vacuuming, doesn’t it?
Words can not describe how embarrassed I am by that last photo. We had literally just vacuumed two days prior. I’m not even joking. That’s the amount of dog hair and dust that we pulled up from our carpet and rugs. If that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will. I’m about to throw our old vacuum out the window after that! It obviously wasn’t doing it’s job!
I’m so relieved that now the vacuum I use on an almost daily basis actually does what it’s supposed to do. What a concept, eh? The Eureka Suction Seal 2.0 has plates that automatically raise and lower to fit the height of the floor it’s vacuuming. The suction power on this bad boy is incredible! I can’t sing this vacuum’s praises enough.
What do you look for in a vacuum?
