You know those moments when you’re like, “Seriously, how did I ever get so lucky?” when you look at your little one? I’ve been having those moments like crazy lately. It’s absolutely heartbreaking that my little baby is already going to be 5 in just 5 short months, but at the same time I’m so proud and amazed at the little girl she’s grown-up to be. It’s still just such a shock that she’s growing up before my very eyes.
One thing I love about my little girl, is that we’re completely kindred spirits. It’s almost spooky all the similarities between our personalities and our quirks– both good and bad. She’s especially similar to me in the way that she absolutely insists on changing into comfy clothes when we get home or wearing comfy clothes whenever possible. I guess having a mom that wears yoga pants and sweatshirts 24/7 will do that to ya.
And that comfy-clothes obsession became even more of an obsession when this pretty little green and pink hoodie arrived from Hanes last week. She didn’t even want to take it off to go to bed and asked me if it was okay if she wore it to school again the very next day.
I think we may even have Cory converted to comfy clothes. And that’s a pretty big deal considering Cory’s the kind of guy who think jeans are comfortable. I know, right? It’s a pretty big feat to convince Cory to wear comfy soft fleecy sweatshirts with Alea and I!
The thing is, even I’m completely obsessed with my Hanes fleece zip-up and my fleece sweatshirt. It’s so soft and I love that it stays soft even after multiple washes. I’m thinking these Hanes fleeces might make the perfect gift for practically everyone on my Christmas list. That makes that easy!
And to be perfectly honest, I did let Alea wear her new zip-up sweatshirt two days in a row.
Girlfriend loves comfy clothes, what can I say?
