I’ve been dreaming of spring lately. Well, I’ve actually been dreaming about spring since our cold, cold winter first began, but I’ve been especially dreaming of spring now that I have a long walk into work in the bitter below zero cold. They don’t make scrub pants all that warm, guys. Just saying! We have the option to take a shuttle, but since I spend most of my day at a desk, I know that long walk into work and out of work is the only decent physical activity I’ll get that day!
I think my sweet little Alea is starting to yearn for spring as well. She’s been talking non-stop about riding her bike to the park and going on long walks to the library. It’s no fun being cooped up all winter, especially when we’ve had some pretty harsh subzero temps that have kept us inside.
Alea whipped up this sweet little pipe cleaner flower and I couldn’t help but smile. I told you we were both craving spring!
According to Miss Alea, “All you need are pipe cleaners!” and “Don’t forget your imagination!” And she also wanted me to tell you that she’s going to start her own blog and it’s going to be a blog all about crafts! Oh the child of a blogger… let me tell ya!
While you’re out perusing the aisles at your favorite store for these beautiful candles, keep in mind Glade’s new Spring Collection. They have some wonderful scents out that’ll make you think spring and if you close your eyes while they’re burning, it might even make it feel like spring in your home! Just don’t look outside… that’ll convince you otherwise pretty quickly, especially if you’re in Wisconsin like me, or have 80,000 inches of snow like those poor Bostonians. (A moment of silence for those poor souls.)
Glade’s Spring Collection:
1. Hello Spring
2. Poppy Groove
3. Blooming Peony + Cherry
I have to admit– Hello Spring is my personal favorite right now. It’s green tea + floral aroma just fill my home with that spring scent I’m yearning for. If I sit in the sun and close my eyes with my Hello Spring candle burning or wax melts melting, I almost feels like spring!
