I’m still in complete disbelief that my little Alea is 5 years old. It just can’t be possible that five years have gone by since the first time I laid eyes on her chubby little cheeks and perfect blue eyes. She has her days and I have mine, but all in all, she’s the most perfect little girl I could’ve ever asked for.
Whenever someone asks me about her, I tell them that she’s the perfect mix of a little girly-girl and the perfect mix of a tough little tom-boy. The best visual I can give you, is when she was riding her brand new Ninja Turtle bike she got from her grandpa for Christmas around the living room while also wearing a princess fairy dress complete with glittery fairy wings! It’s seriously hilarious!
I’m just so blessed to be this sweet little girl’s mama.
Needless to say, we had an amazing Ninja Turtle birthday party… as you can see. It was absolutely perfect! I was so pleased with how well everything came together– even though it was a little last minute. (Nothing out of the ordinary for me!) My best friend Bobbi and her little Aiden came to celebrate with us as well. It was so great to have them there and I was SOOO appreciative of Bobbi’s help. She made most of the decorations… man am I lucky to have her!
Cory was a master chef and whipped up almost all of the food and I’m pretty sure he could give Cake Boss a run for his money with that sweet pizza cake!
If you’re keeping score, I pretty much just cleaned the house and took photos. Stick to what you’re good at, right? (Oh, and I filled the piñata, too!)
All that matters, though, is that Alea had a blast! And that’s exactly what happened!
Happy 5th Birthday Alea Lou!
That cake, I am very impressed by it. It looks like she had a lot of fun too!
Looks like she had a great birthday, she’s adorable! My baby will be 5 this fall (tear)!
I love that she wanted a TMNT party. Rock on baby girl! Hope it was super fun 🙂
