I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. A home doesn’t feel like a home until I’ve set up a little caffeination station. (I like the way that sounds!) Cory and I were talking the other day and we realized that we’ve lived in 4 different places in the six years we’ve been together. How crazy is that? At every single one of those homes, I’ve made sure to have a little coffee bar set up. There’s just something about having my Keurig or coffee pot ready and waiting for me. It just makes my heart sing.
And of course, it helps if it’s pretty to look at, too.
We’re kind of low on counter space at our current residence. So I found this pretty little coffee cart at Walmart of all places. While I was there, I found a yummy scented candle to keep our dining room smelling lovely and fresh. Sure, the smell of coffee is always comforting, but sometimes I just want our house to smell like summertime. The Sunshine Showers scent is so perfect and it reminds me of the floral scent of spring mixed with that glorious aroma that fills your house when you leave your windows open after it rains.
Amazing I tell you. Simply amazing.
Needless to say, I’m absolutely smitten with my new coffee set up. There’s room for everything, including a collection of k-cups, a place to hang my coffee mugs and a shelf to set some more on. I even keep my iced coffee mixes handy in a pretty wicker basket, and the carafe for my Kuerig is ready and waiting on the shelf as well.
You can find all kinds of beautifully scented candles, air sprays, and scented oil warmers and plug-ins in your “air care” aisle right near the grocery section at Walmart.
What are your must-haves for your coffee bar?
Homemade mocha syrup! It’s the bomb and I’m never going back!
Love this! We’re moving in a couple weeks, we won’t be short on counter space, but I would LOVE to have a section dedicated just to my coffee and mugs. I’m obsessed with coffee! I love it in the morning to wake up, but drink it later in the day because I just love the taste / smell of it.
I can’t get enough!
