A couple of weeks ago we made our way to the farmer’s market one town over. It was still a little on the early side to get lots of fresh fruits and veggies, but let me tell ya, the fruits and veggies that we did find were nothing short of incredible. Especially those pretty little red cherry tomatoes. I may have eaten them all in one sitting and they may have completely cured my candy bar craving — that’s how sweet they were!
There’s just something about going out to the farmers market as a family that screams summer.
We’ll be going back very soon and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store now that it’s later in the season! Now if only I didn’t live in Wisconsin and could enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables and cute little small town farmers markets year round. Bah humbug!
This weekend I think we’ll be hitting up the Farmers Market again and continuing with our new nightly tradition of going for a walk as a family (Bentley included) at 7pm. We’re going strong and I love this extra intentional family time that we’ve been instituting. Major props to Cory for thinking of and enforcing these new nightly family walks!
Here’s to Saturday Farmers Markets, Summertime Sunshine, and Family Time!
Have you made it out to a farmers market yet?
