I’ve been a researching nerd lately! I’ve been discovering a lot about the good and bad sides of food and the impact that food truly has on our bodies. The research I’ve come across has been mind boggling, somewhat frightening, and also awe-inspiring. (I’ll have to recap all of that in an upcoming post!) It’s just crazy to think how the simple (or so we thought) choices we make when it comes to food can drastically impact our health either for the better or for the worse.
It’s almost scary when you think about it.
Since all of that research into the food that I eat, I’ve (you guessed it) started to make better choices when it comes food. I feel like it just makes sense to eat better and smarter and in turn I’ll experience more energy, better skin, and just feel more healthy overall.
And since I’ve made that big– but small change in my life, I’ve never eaten so many fruits and vegetables. I tried quinoa, flax seed and chia seeds for the very first time and even started drinking more tea than coffee. All of that was great, but made even more wonderful with this ridiculously easy-to-prepare Eat Smart salads. The fact that I can toss these in my lunch bag for work or throw one together for a quick dinner has been instrumental in keeping me on track.
All of the ingredients are there. You just open the bag or container, pour the lettuce and veggies into a bowl, add the toppings and the dressing, stir around a little and you’re on your way to a fiber and protein-packed meal!
Just imagine– a pre-packaged, but healthy meal with 6 or more superfoods! Everything you need for the most delicious salad and the healthiest of lunches! As a full-time nurse and busy mama, this is right up my alley! If you’re thinking of turning over a new leaf with your nutrition or you’re already living and eating healthier, you’ve gotta grab yourself some of these Eat Smart salads next time you’re at the grocery store!
Which salad flavor will you try first?
