There’s no denying it (so don’t even try), we all have that one person on our Christmas list who is insanely difficult to buy for. That one person you literally think about all year long and when Thanksgiving is just around the corner, you still haven’t figured out the perfect gift for them. They’re that person that you typically just give up on and buy a gift card for, if ya know what I mean. I’m not saying it’s their fault. They’re just tough!
I have a few of those hard-to-buy for people on my Christmas list every year and this year, I think I’ve come to a solution. I’ve noticed a fun little trend popping up on Pinterest and have decided to hop right on the bandwagon. Gifts in Jars are my new jam. And I’m not talking about the baking mixes or hot cocoa in a jar type of gifts, I’m talking about the big ol’ jars you can cram all kinds of fun goodies into!
For this specific jar gift, I found some great jars of different sizes. I took the biggest one and added some fun Christmasy goodness (and I’ll maybe add a gift card to somewhere yummy) and then I added a box of GODIVA chocolates on the side. I bought the gorgeously packaged GODIVA Assorted Chocolate Caramels gift box and the GODIVA Assorted Milk Chocolates gift box– both from Walmart! In addition to these items, you could also add candy canes, nuts, sausage, cheeses, and other delicious Christmas treats to complete your gift in a jar!
Wrap some twine around the neck of the jar, add a fun little gift tag, and you’ve got yourself the easiest gift for the hardest to buy for on your Christmas shopping list!
Now it’s time to make a couple more variations of this gift for a couple others on my list! Easy-peasy and it makes my shopping so much easier and way less stressful! And I may or may not have picked-up that extra box of GODIVA chocolates for myself… I can’t lie to ya’ll!
What do you buy the hard-to-shop-for person on your Christmas shopping list?
