Did you happen to see the Packers game this weekend? Talk about a nail biter! Okay, so maybe I barely watched it because I was too busy catching up on work, but trust me, I could tell. Cory was downstairs yelling, jumping up and down, clapping, and maybe even throwing around a cuss word or two. Now that’s how you know it’s a good game!
Needless to say, we will most certainly be celebrating the big game this year and I’m already starting my list of all of the food we just have to have! You know– gotta keep tabs on the most important part, right? I’m sharing a recipe today that a lot of you have probably heard of before, with a little bit of a spin. The classic cheesy Rotel dip is one of my absolute favorites– but add some Hormel Chili and you’ve got a seriously good game day appetizer!
1. 1-15oz can of Hormel Chili with no beans.
2. 1-15oz can of Rotel tomatoes
3. 1 large brick of Velveeta Cheese
1. Melt Velveeta cheese in a crock pot.
2. Once melted add the Hormel Chili and Rotel tomatoes.
3. Mix until ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
Enjoy with chips, crackers, or drizzle on top of a hot dog– this is a classic for any football party, birthday party, or family get together!
