As of when these photos were taken (by my sweet little Alea, mind you) I was 18 weeks pregnant. Today as you’re reading this, I’m 19 weeks and 4 days. Almost halfway to my due date. That is just totally and completely surreal to me. It feels like it was just yesterday that I saw those two pretty pink lines and went racing upstairs to wake Cory up and tell him the news.
Now that we know we’re expecting our second girl, I’ve been taking many walks down memory lane sorting through Alea’s baby things. Even through 6 moves, I’ve kept almost everything. The only thing we lost along the way is the bassinet and then we’ve had to get rid of expired carseats as well. All that moaning and groaning and grumbling from Cory over the years is worth it now that we don’t have to fork out all that extra cash for all this baby stuff! Phew!
I must have known we would need it again!
At this point in my pregnancy I’m finally starting to get over the nausea. *Knock on wood* It seems like every time I think it’s passing, it rears it’s ugly head again. I’m dealing with some not-so-fun sciatic pain and it just seems my bump is growing at record speed!
I’m going to sound like a broken record here, but I honestly can’t express how thankful I am for this pregnancy and how thankful I am that we get to make Alea a big sister.
This journey has just been so, so incredible.
