Let me just take in a moment here to realize that I no longer have a kindergartener. Holy smokes! I don’t know about you, but this school year completely flew by for us! Alea has learned so much and I’ve seen her grow so much, both in height, and in all of her academics as well.
We’ve decided that we’re going to do it big this summer and really take in all of our special moments with her. I’m currently working on a summer bucket list and we’re kicking off the sum-sum-summertime with a fun little A&W® Root Beer and Sunkist® float bar– how cute is this?
We set it up in our new-to-us patio area. I used a cute beach towel I found on clearance and these cute little floatie (get it?) cup holders for our floats along with the ingredients I picked-up at Target. Cory and Alea are big fans of the orange cream flavored anything, so they were very excited to have their Sunkist® floats and I’m all about the A&W® Root Beer floats! Target was my one stop shop for everything we needed and I may have even picked-up some baby items there as well. Sometimes I just can’t help myself!
To make your ice cream float:
1. 2 scoops of Vanilla Archer Farms Ice Cream
2. Fill cup with your choice of soda.
3. Add a pretty paper straw and enjoy!
*Pro Tip: Blend your soda and ice cream mixture in a blender– this is Cory’s favorite way to enjoy his floats!*
I’m so very excited to celebrate summertime with my sweet little girl. This summer is all about my little Alea and enjoying every second with just the three of us, before we add our very special fourth family member in October!
