She is so perfect and an absolute dream come true. I can’t get over how much she looks like her big sister when Alea was a baby. I’ll have to post a comparison– it’s uncanny! We’re adjusting well to being a family of four and finding our new normal. She’s sleeping so well at night– almost too well at times– you breastfeeding mamas know what I mean! We’ve gotten the hang of the whole nursing thing and she’s latching like a pro.
As expected, Alea is an incredible big sister. She loves to love and kiss on her and is more than willing to hold her so mama can get a few things done. I was always a bit worried about the age gap and not having my babies close together in age, but this 6.5 year age difference has been a huge help so far!
I thought my pregnancy was surreal, but sometimes I catch myself just staring at her because I can’t believe she’s finally here with us.
Thank you for all of your congratulations across social media and for all of your thoughts and prayers during our struggles to get pregnant with miss Mckenna. We appreciate you!
