Ya’ll, Christmas is on SUNDAY. Like as in THIS COMING Sunday. How in the world did that happen? I literally just finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. Well… only to realize that I still have teacher and daycare presents to purchase, but you know… I’m so close. No if anyone would like to come over and do some wrapping for me, I’d be more than happy to have you. I’ll provide the hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and Christmas music. 😉
In the spirit of the season, we got some pretty adorable outfits for the girls this year thanks to Gymboree. I’m slightly obsessed with Mckenna’s present outfit that she’s worn to both her big sissy’s Christmas concerts this year. She really is a special present for us this year! In fact, I had the hardest time making my Christmas wish list this year. I think because for the first year in a long time I feel like I have everything I need right here. These two girls, my husband, a beautiful home. What more could I ask for?
Cory reminded me the other day that last year during Christmas was a very sad time for us. We had yet another negative pregnancy test and it was then that we decided I would have surgery for endometriosis. And now this year? This year we have what we’ve wanted for a long, long time. Bring on the water works!
There’s just so much to be thankful for this year that the material “things” don’t really seem all too important. You know?
How incredible is that dress that Alea’s wearing? She wore it to her school Christmas concert and she just sparkled in the front row and center of the stage! I even taught her to do a little curtsey instead of a bow so she could show off her dress a little more! Trust me– she obliged. She’s such a little ham on stage.
If you still have some Christmas shopping to do, head on over to Gymboree. They’re currently having a 50% off sale of the ENTIRE store! I did some serious Christmas shopping for the girls. You can’t beat the quality and the cuteness!
What are you thankful for this holiday season?
