Hello, I’m Chelsea!
I’m a twenty-five year old mother and registered nurse who believes that world’s greatest problems can be solved with rainbow colored sprinkles. (And I’m only half kidding.)
Sometimes I use fifty words when five would do, but I’ve loved words and writing for as long as I can remember. Writing this blog on an almost daily basis has become my escape and my way to live those dreams I had when I was younger of becoming a writer. And this is my space to document the life of my family and the life of my sweet little five-year-old daughter, Alea, as well.
Since this blog started on a rainy (but somewhat sunny) day in May of 2011, I’ve been documenting the life of my daughter Alea, sharing our favorite recipes, my DIY attempts, inspiring other moms to interact with their littles with my toddler and kids activities, and sharing some silly outfit photo attempts as well.
Our family may not have started in the most conventional way, but we’ve settled in just fine in a cozy little town in Wisconsin.
2014 was quite the year for our little family. We made the big move from Minnesota to Wisconsin, I started my first nursing job, Cory and I got married on June 28th, we accepted an offer on our house in Minnesota and moved into our for-now rental home. It was a year full of blessings, but I believe that 2015 will be just as fulfilling!
Stick around, make yourself at home, and maybe even join me for coffee sometime!
I’m happy you’re here and I’m excited to get to know you!
